Dear diary,
There are so many things going on with me this month.
First:- I think because I keep repeating to myself 'I am an Enterpreneur, I am a business owner, I am the BUSINESS!!!' I can't stop thinking about new ideas. It's got to the point that I sleep and not only dream of new ideas, am actually going through the process in my dream. Please give me a shout out if it's ever happened or is happening to you and if it hasn't, practice saying this ''I am an Enterpreneur, I am a business owner, I am the BUSINESS!!!' and see if all you think about each day is your business and new business ideas.
Second:- I've been trying to do research on each business idea but I have learnt one thing. Now you will say what did you learn?????
I'll tell you. I've learnt that pursuing so many different ideas at once is like chasing so many birds at once.... You will not catch one. If you want to catch a bird, focus all your energy, plans and target on one viable bird and by golly....will you catch you a bird!!!
All that means is that, its fantastic you have so many different ideas pouring in like the river Niger but you won't get anywhere if you go chasing all of them in one go.
So what do you do...I hear you ask!! I will tell you. Get yourself a dream log/book. Write down every ideas and all the details you can to do with this idea in your log book. Every time you get an idea, put everything (every last detail of that idea) into your dream log book.
Pick one idea, work on it, develop it...run with it. When it's able to stand on it's legs & you don't need to put as much time and energy as you did in the begining, then gradually start on another viable idea (project) but do not total abandon the first project or it could all go wrong.
Remember, your start up business is like a baby. First you have to do everything for it while gradually teaching it to do things for itself. Soon it becomes a teenager....the fact that it can stand on two legs doesn't mean it should be left on its own, it just means you let it find its way while gently nodging it in the right direction. Even when it has become a full grown adult and you don't need to put so much energy into it, it still needs love and care or it will all go pear-shaped.
