I can't say this is the first marketing book I have bought, but it has definitely been the most useful one to date. When you're running your own business, you want and need something punchy, to the point, but which fully explores the subject matter so you can absorb it quickly and effectively. This is one of those books !!
It's not overwhelming with technical language, just practical advice and solid information that is easy to apply in the real world and also what you're doing. I particularly liked the online templates that are available to download, which allow you to put the ideas in the book into practice. After reading the book, I really felt equipped to look at my business in a new light with a route through some of the questions that had been on my mind for a little while, in particular, how to connect with potential customers and develop them into clients and most importantly value my time.
Can't thank Pimbles enough for recommending it to me - plenty of food for thought and for me a must read, will certainly be on my bookshelf for a while to refer back to again and again, while I'm tweaking and learning.
